Customs Court issues warrants of alleged smuggler

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has ordered an alleged smuggler, Mashooq Ali, to appear before the court within the given time period otherwise he will be declared as proclaimed offender.

According to the details, Mashooq Ali son of Wahid is a resident of muhallah Khawaja Ghreeb Nawaz Grid Station Road, Vehari and has been involved in smuggling.

The Customs Court summoned the accused repeatedly but he did not appear before the court. Now, Special Judge Chaudhary Ameer Muhammad Khan has issued a final notice, directing him to appear before the court within 30 days otherwise he will be declared as proclaimed offender and his moveable or immovable property will be seized.

A case was registered against the accused by the Multan Customs Intelligence.
