LAHORE: In the Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling, 26 important cases were scheduled on Wednesday for hearing including tax evasion and smuggling cases.
On Wednesday, 26 cases of different types were scheduled for hearing, including 3 pre-arrest bail pleas of accused persons. All cases were rescheduled for new dates as lawyers were observing black day and they did not participated in any proceeding of the Customs Court.
Post arrest bail pleas, witnesses and other cases were also scheduled for Wednesday. Customs Court also adjourned many cases of smuggling..
The cases, including tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics, were also scheduled for the day.
