KARACHI: The Customs Court has dismissed interim bail application of an accused auto par importer, held in a Rs0.59 million mis-declaration case.
Customs Appraisement West had nabbed Mehmood Ayaz of M/s Ayan Enterprises and got seven-day remand from a Customs Court.
M/s Ayan Enterprises had imported a consignment declared to contain BGF brand, Hydraulic Cylinders for Automotive Vehicles and Brake/wheel/Clutch/Cylinders for fork lifters from Taiwan. The importers electronically filed goods declaration for clearance thereof, by self-assessing and paying upfront duties of Rs589,991.
