LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has directed the investigation and prosecution team of the Customs Intelligence Gujranwala to submit interim challan of a cloth smuggling case in the next hearing.
Earlier, the Customs Court had approved the bail plea of the accused Saeedul Haq who was arrested from Gujranwala in smuggling case.
Sources told Customs Today that Customs Intelligence had arrested Saeedul Haq and recovered a huge quantity of smuggled goods from a truck which was being unloaded at his warehouse the city.
The Customs intelligence recovered clothes, shoes and other relevant items from the truck number IDT 3267. Sources told Customs Today that recovered items were smuggled from Afghanistan through Baluchistan.
