KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation has determined the customs values of alloy and non-alloy steel bar/deformed steel bar through Valuation Ruling No712/2015 under Section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969.
The Valuation Ruling No712/2015 has superseded the previously issued Valuation Ruling No545/2013 in this regard.
The customs values of non-alloy iron and steel bars from Europe, Latin America, Turkey and Middle East having PCT Heading 7214.2010, 7214.2090, 7214.3010, 7214.3090, 7214.9990, 7215.1010, 7215.1090, 7215.9010 and 7215.9090 and proposed PCT for WeBOC are 7214.2010.1000, 7214.2090.1100, 7214.3010.1200, 7214.3090.1300, 7214.9990.1400, 7215.1010.1000, 7215.1090.1100, 7215.9010.1200 and 7215.9090.1300 have fixed at US$45 and US$40 respectively.
The customs values of non-alloy iron and steel bars from China having PCT Heading 7214.2010, 7214.2090, 7214.3010, 7214.3090, 7214.9990, 7215.1010, 7215.1090, 7215.9010 and 7215.9090 and proposed PCT for WeBOC are 7214.2010.1000, 7214.2090.1100, 7214.3010.1200, 7214.3090.1300, 7214.9990.1400, 7215.1010.1000, 7215.1090.1100, 7215.9010.1200 and 7215.9090.1300 have fixed at US$45.
The customs values of steel bars including re-bars where boron or chromium has been added from China Origin having PCT Heading 7228.3090, 7228.4000 7228.6000 and proposed PCT for WeBOC are 7228.3090.1000, 7228.4000.1100 and 7228.6000.1200 have fixed at US$560.
The customs values of alloy steel bars (other than with boron or chromium addition) non-magnetic from China Origin having PCT Heading 7228.3090, 7228.4000 7228.6000 and proposed PCT for WeBOC are 7228.3090.1000, 7228.4000.1100 and 7228.6000.1200 have fixed at US$885.
