Customs employees demands special allowance, upgradation of pay scale

SIALKOT: The employees of the Customs Department have demanded special allowances and up-gradation of  their present pay scale.

Talking to Customs Today, the employees of the Customs Department said the government announced special allowances for the Customs employees in 2014 but the government had failed to provide these allowances according to the announcement.

They demanded that the government to provide special allowances to them on priority basis . They said that special allowance will encourage employees to perform their duties more devotedly, and honestly. They also demanded for up-gradation of their present pay scale from grade 1 to grade 15.
