Customs Exports collects Rs 254.68m customs duty in February 2016‏

KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate-Exports under supervision of Collector Dr Saifuddin Junejo has collected at least Rs 254.68 million customs duty in the month of February 2016 against the target of Rs 352.45 million for Fiscal Year 2015-16.  According to statistics, the Customs Export collected Rs 254.68 million in the month of February 2016 while Rs 41.93 million was collected on the last day i.e. February 29, 2016.

Moreover, the Customs Exports was given a target of Rs 2936.13 million for July 2015 to February 2016 however it just collected Rs 2153.39 which is 73 percent of the given task, sources added.
