Customs exports issues final notice to M/s Huzaifa Enterprise to deposit tax amount

KARACHI: The Customs Exports has issued final notice to a Karachi-base company allegedly involved in tax evasion of Rs 967,000.

The Customs Exports Department has issued notice to M/s Huzaifa Enterprise (Private) Limited to deposit their tax amount. The said company passed three consignments of ready made garments during the month of April. The department issued notice to deposit their tax amount of Rs 967,000 but the company remained failed to deposit their tax amount. Therefore, the department has issued a final notice to it to submit tax amount with fine of Rs 60,000.

It is pertinent to mention here Customs Export issued two notices in which the said company requested to department for 15 days while the company remained failed to submitted amount during said date. Therefore now department warns the company if he will not deposit tax within 14 days the department takes legal action against it.
