Sialkot ASO seizes red chili, children clothes

SIALKOT: Anti- Smuggling Organization (ASO) Sialkot has confiscated Indian red chili and children cloths worth Rs 100,000 on Grand Trunk (GT) Road.

Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Choudhary deputed Inspector Amjad on GT road to check vehicle under Kashmir Transit Trade. The said Inspector along with his team started checking vehicles which were coming from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). During the checking of vehicles the team intercepted a van which was coming from Mirpur (AJK) and going into Sialkot. During the search of the vehicles the team recovered some packets of smuggled Indian red chili and children cloths worth Rs100,000. The team asked the driver Hameed about customs clearance documents s of goods but he was failed to produce any legal documents and said that the items were loaded in van from van stand of Mirpur (AJK). The team confiscated said items and shifted in the customs store.
