Customs Exports issues show cause notice to chemical company

KARACHI: The Model Customs Exports has collated tax from two tax evading companies after those were issued final notices. The Customs Exports has also issued a show cause notice to a chemical company located in the area of Liqetabad, Karachi.

Official said that the department issued final notice to M/s Madiha Associates during the second week of November. The said company cleared its two consignments by misusing Customs tariff and was involved in the tax evasion of Rs 212000. In the notice the department warned the company to deposit the tax amount within 14 day otherwise the department would take legal action against the company.  In this regard Madiha Associates has deposit its tax amount.

In another side M/s Smama Feed Company has also deposit it arrear amount. The department found during the audit of the company involved in tax evasion of Rs123000. Smama Feed cleared its consignments with the misused of SRO 556. Customs Export warned the company to submit  arrear amount within 14 days and in this regard the company has deposit tax amount.

Customs Exports issued show cause notice to Feroz Chemical to deposit tax amount. The said company cleared its consignmen of Sodium Chemicals with the misused of SRO and involved in tac evasion of 90,000. The department instructed the company to submit answer with complete documents in seven days otherwise department take strict legal action against it.
