KARACHI: Model Customs Export has issued show cause notice to a Hyderabad-base company involved in tax evasion.
Customs official told Customs Today that M/s Zeyan Aluminum and Exports involved in the tax evasion of Rs589000. The said company cleared four consignments during the month of April but didn’t deposit tax amount. During the audit of the company it revealed the said company misused the SRO 556 and clear 4 consignments with the help of its clearing agent A.Z Enterpriser. While the SRO 556 not implement in the clearing of this company items. On this department issued notice to the company to deposit their tax amount within seven days otherwise department take stern legal action against them.
