Customs Exports issues tax notices to M/s Raja Tahir & Sons, M/s Gul Lal Enterprises

KARACHI: The Model Customs Export has stepped up its efforts to collect revenue from tax defaulters as the current fiscal year is going to end.

Sources told Customs Today that tax authorities issued tax notice of Rs 11.3 million to M/s Raja Tahir and Sons which is located at Mirpur Khas area. The Customs authorities also issued notice to M/s Gul Lala Enterprises. The company is defaulter of Rs 7.5 million. Sources said that customs authorities issued tax notices to the companies last year but they still failed to clear their outstanding taxes.

Now customs authorities issued them final notice warning them to clear outstanding tax amont within seven days failing whih stern action will be taken against them. Sources said that customs department will use all available resources to recover outstanding tax amount from defaulters, which will also includes sealing of property, and freezing of bank accounts.
