Customs foils bid to smuggle 82 cell phones at Lahore airport

LAHORE: The customs officials foiled a bid to smuggle mobile phones into Pakistan from Thailand here at Allama Iqbal International Airport on Friday.

The customs officials checked the luggage of a passenger at at Lahore airport and recovered 82 mobile phones of different models. The suspect is identified as Muhammad Saad, a resident of Sialkot, and was coming back from Thailand.
