ISLAMABAD: The Customs authorities has foiled a bid to smuggle foreign currency abroad and arrested an accused at Islamabad Airport.
According to the airport sources, Dubai-bound passenger was carrying foreign currency including 86,600 Saudi Riyals, 49,500 UAE Dirhams worth millions in Pakistan currency in sweets box for smuggling to Dubai. The Customs officials arrested the accused identified as Khushdil Rehman. He belongs to district Swabi of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
