Customs GPO foils bid to smuggle mariguana

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive team deputed at General Post Office (GPO) foiled an attempt to smuggle mariguana.

Sources told Customs Today that Collector Customs Preventive Faiz Ahmad received credible information that attempts were being made to smuggle fine quality mariguana through some parcels under the grab of cloth. He immediately directed customs team deputed at General Post Office to enhance checking of parcels arrived specially from European countries. Customs Superintendent Nayyer Sultan intercepted a suspicious intercepted a suspicious parcel and during through checking recovered fine quality mariguana which was tactfully hidden in the cloth send from Holland.
