Customs Gwadar recovers huge quantity of smuggled Iranian diesel, brake oil

KARACHI: Customs Collectorate Gwadar, during a successful operation against smugglers, recovered a huge quantity of non-duty paid Iranian diesel, while during another raid it seized Iranian brake oil.

Sources told Customs Today that Collector Saeed Akram received secret information about some smuggling attempts. He formed a team under the supervision of Deputy Collector Aftabullah Shah which included Inspector Waheedulah, Superintendent Preventive Khaliq Zaman and others. The customs team intercepted an oil tanker and recovered 18,000 liters smuggled Iranian diesel. The Customs team arrested the driver of the oil tanker.
