Customs I &I seizes smuggled clothes, cosmetics, ceramics tiles

LAHORE: The Customs Intelligence and Investigations impounded smuggled clothes and cosmetics worth billions of rupees in different raids in various parts of the city, Customs Today learnt on Monday.

Customs intelligence impounded smuggled clothes and cosmetics from a bus coming from Peshawar at Ravi Toll plaza Lahore. Iran made ceramics tiles were recovered from Multan road a truck was also seized carrying these smuggled tiles. In another incident at Sheranwala Gate, the Customs Intelligence recovered more than 7,000 meter smuggled cloth that was booked for Kashmir through Sialkot-Karachi goods. Meanwhile, a truck coming from Gujranwala was also seized by customs at GT Road Shahdara area that was carrying Iranian-made ceramic tile. The Customs Intelligence impounded the tiles and seized the truck as well.
