It is important to mention here that DCS was in agreement with smart zone in lines the TCS to supply the electronics items to dealers and shopkeepers, while customs has gotten the copy of this agreement to analyze the type of agreement.

Similar to the TCS, DCS does not have any legal documents regarding the import of electronics items.

Now, Customs I&I is investigating this case keeping in view the earlier cases, lodged against smart zone and TCs on the smuggling of electronics items.

On the other hand, customs has asked all the shopkeepers and dealers to present the record of invoices sent by smart zone on the purchase of items and also directed them to present the bank statements of last two years.
