Customs impounds non-duty paid Land Cruiser worth Rs 3.2m

MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has impounded a non-duty paid Land Cruiser from Sadiqabad during a crackdown.

According to details, a team of Customs Intelligence impounded the vehicle on Friday night near Kot Sabzal Road. The Land Cruiser with number plate of a member of the National Assembly, was crossing a road when the Customs squad checked the vehicle. The driver was asked to show original documents of the vehicle, but the documents presented by him were verified from the motor registration authority and found to be forged. The Customs officials seized the vehicle and formed a seizure report.
