FIA arrests a jeweler for running illegal business of hundi

SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a Daska city based accused leading jeweler, Sajjad Ahmed for running illegal business of hundi.

FIA Deputy Director Chaudhary Khalid Anees told that FIA team led by Sub-Inspector Khizar Hayyat Gondal raided the jewelry shop of the accused in Sarafa Market Daska and arrested.

He said that accused had been running illegal business of hundi and money exchange there. FIA also seized the national and foreign currencies worth millions of rupees from his possession.

He said that FIA has sent the accused behind the bars after registering a case against him. Further investigations are underway.
