ISLAMABAD: Syed Tanvir Hussain Shah, a Pakistan Customs Service officer, has been reinstated into service conditionally with immediate effect after removal of his major penalty by the Supreme Court.
In pursuance of Federal Service Tribunal (FST), Lahore Bench Judgment dated 20.06.2016 passed in Appeal No.221(L)CS/2015, the major penalty of ‘removal from service’ imposed upon the officer, posted as Inspector at Model Customs Collectorate Preventive, Lahore vide Board’s Notification No.1014-C-III/2015 dated 06.05.2015 has been set-aside and he is reinstated into service conditionally with immediate effect subject to the final outcome/decision of the Supreme Court in CPLA No.3209/2016 dated 28.07.2016.
