LAHORE: The Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation impounded millions of rupees plastic dana in a raid near Patoki.
Sources told Customs Today that on a tip Customs Intelligence and Investigation raided a godown on the instructions of Additional Director Mohsin Rafique and seized a heavy quantity of Iranian smuggled plastic dana from the godown.
The sources said that the total value of the plastic dana has been estimated at Rs 2 million involving duty and taxes of Rs 0.6 million.
The sources said the Customs Intelligence and Investigation has lodged FIR against two accused.
The raid was conducted by Customs Intelligence and Investigation anti-smuggling team consisting inspectors and other officials under the guidance of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Superintendents Nasir Minhas, Munawar and Fiaz.
The sources informed that Customs Intelligence and Investigation anti-smuggling team has initiated further investigations in this regard.
