Customs Intelligence detains Mark-X, Toyota Surf, Honda Accord worth Rs 12m

LAHORE: The Car Cell of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation has impounded four luxury vehicles worth Rs 12 million from different locations of the city.

Official sources told Customs Today that Customs Car Cell intercepted four non-customs paid vehicles including Mark-X BEB-570, Toyota Hilux SB-5874, Honda Accord AQH and Toyota Surf Hilux BD-353 on Multan Road, Muslim Town, Ferozpur Road and Bahria Town.

The cars were detained on secret information on the directives of Director Saud Imran by a team headed by Superintendent Yasin Malik under the supervision of Inspectors Mratab Mushtaq, it was said that Agha Sultan Haider and others were also part of the customs team. The sources said that cases have been registered and further investigations are underway.
