MULTAN:  The Customs Intelligence and Investigation seized an oil tanker of furnace oil owned by smuggler Shabbir alias Shabbu .

The Customs Intelligence and Investigation had received some clue from their informer that an oil tanker containing Iran-origin oil will reach Multan very soon. On that, Additional Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Nisar Ahmad formed a special team comprising Rana Arshad,Siraj Islam, Saleem Afzal, Zulfiqar and Saleem Afzal.

When the oil tanker was crossing Sher Shah Road, the Customs Intelligence and Investigation team followed and impounded it near Multan Dry Port Sher shah Road.

The registration number of oil tanker was THk- 4588 Quetta. The oil tanker captured by Customs Intelligence and Investigation was filled with 12,000 liter of furnace oil.
