Customs Intelligence impounds non-duty paid Toyota Mark-X

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized  a non-duty paid Toyota Mark-X car. The market value of the seized vehicle is Rs 4 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Additional Director Customs Intelligence Azmat Tahira received information about some smuggled vehicles which are plying on roads.

After receiving the information, she formed a team comprising  Superintendent Mahir Rafique Intelligence Officers Saeed Hayat, Mansoor Nasir and also Mukhtar Ahmad, Muhammad Iqbal and Muhammad Rafique (sepoys ).

The intelligence staff seized Toyota car bearing registration no. AAL- 757  Quetta near Eden Valley, 208 Chak Road . The team asked the driver of the vehicle who was identified as Muhammad Tauseef Anwar son of Muhammad Latif Anwar resident of Mohallah Razabad to produce legal documents regarding possession of the vehicle but the driver failed to provide the same.

Customs authorities seized the vehicle and registered a case against accused person.
