Customs Intelligence impounds Rs5m Land Cruiser, Mark-X

LAHORE: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Car Cell impounded two luxury vehicles worth Rs 5 million, sources said.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs authorities detained Land Cruiser bearing registration no. PD/ 941 from Manawa Police Station.

The customs authorities detained the Land Cruiser from the custody of the police as, according to the police, the Land Cruiser was used in crime.

Similarly the customs authorities seized BFU/ 023 Mark-X from one Hymayoon, the sources, said, adding that the customs authorities on information intercepted the vehicle and the owner failed to produce any legal document against the car and the authorities finally impounded the vehicle.

The source said that the operation was conducted by the customs authorizes under the supervision of Car Cell Incharge Muratab Mushataq on the directions of Director Saud Imran Ahmad.

The customs Car cell after registering cases has started further investigations into the cases, the sources added.
