MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan range impounded a foreign origin Toyota Lifter near Punjab Sindh border.
As per details, Deputy Director Naveed Ur Rehman Bughvi received information that a non-customs paid Toyota Lifter will enter Punjab from Sindh. The Customs deployed staff to foil the attempt. The Field Intelligence Unit impounded the lifter bearing registration number of ZAA/295 /SIBBI when it entered the Sadiqabad region.
The Customs teams asked the driver to provide import documents but he failed. As a result, the customs team impounded the lifter. The net value of the seized lifter is Rs 1.5 million.
The lifter has the capacity to lift four ton weight and these lifters are usually used in the commercial units. The Customs has prepared a seizure report.
