ISLAMABAD: The Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (CII) Islamabad has directed all officials of the Customs Intelligence, including the staff at the headquarters, not to take any leave before or after Eid.

Strict disciplinary action will be taken against those employees who will not follow the instructions regarding the notice of Eidul Azha leaves.

According to sources, the employees would only enjoy the official Eidul Azha leaves already announced by the federal government. The sources further said that the Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad has also issued a notification in this regard.

The sources told Customs Today that after the issuance of this notice, employees who belong to far-flung areas of the country are anxious because they won’t have enough time to spend these holidays with their families in their native villages. This is mainly because a lot of their time will be wasted in travel. Due to this situation, some of the employees have decided not to celebrate Eidul Azha holidays in native areas.
