Customs Intelligence seizes Jeera machines, black pepper

FAISALABAD: Customs Intelligence and Investigation authorities recovered smuggled machine Clean Jeera (100 bags) and foreign origin black pepper 1750 kilograms worth Rs 2 million during a crackdown.

Sources informed Customs Today that additional director Mrs Azmat Tahira received information regarding some smuggled attempts. He constituted a raiding team comprising Zahid Saleem Mirza (SIO), Mansoor Nasir (IO), driver Tajamalul Haq, Muhammad Sajjad (havaldar ) and sepoy Khalil Ahmad. The customs team intercepted truck No. SGE- 9645 near Gattwala Toll Plaza and recovered smuggled items.
