Customs Intelligence torches drugs worth Rs 30 million

MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Range has burned drugs in an open ground. The market value of the destroyed drugs is  Rs 30 million.

According to details, Customs had confiscated 266 kilograms of hashish in two anti–smuggling operations in the year 2003 and 2008.  Customs seized hashish of very fine quality which was contraband and Customs have decided to destroy all drugs after obtaining permission from competent authority.
