Customs Intelligence Multan seizes Rs 30 million smuggled items

LAHORE: Customs Intelligence and Investigations Multan seized two truckloads of smuggled items near Sakhi Sarwar area of district Dera Ghazi Khan, officials said.

Customs officials said that the trucks were caught late last night and initial search yielded in recovery of tyres, welding rods and different auto parts. Both the trucks, their drivers and helpers were given in custody of Sakhi Sarwar police and they would be hand over to Customs Intelligence and Investigations Multan within next two days after completion of legal procedure.
