Riyadh: Customs president Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Khalifa has participated in the joint GCC Customs Union meeting in Riyadh.
The meeting discussed the topics featuring on the agenda, including the VAT and Excise Tax, in addition to the Tax Information Centre and the launching of Central e-system.
The meeting also reviewed the Saudi recommendation on the implementation of customs taxes and fees in Gulf countries. The Customs President was accompanied by Director of Customs Planning and Policies and Customs officials.
