Customs Preventive collects Rs 12.253b duties/taxes in December 2015

KARACHI: Customs Collectorate Preventive has collected around Rs 12.253  billion under the head of duties/taxes during December 2015.

According to official statistics, the Customs Preventive collected Rs 2,955.94 million under the head of customs duty, Rs 7,847.22 million as sales tax, Rs 1,122.73 million as income tax and Rs 3,27.93 million as federal excise duty.

So far, the Preventive Collectorate has collected some Rs 67,412.92 million out of which Rs 1,4427 million as customs duty, Rs 4,4245.80 million as sales tax, Rs 6,204.95 million as income tax and Rs 2,534.71 million as federal excise duty

Moreover, under the head of sales tax, the Customs Preventive collected Rs 7,432.03 million, while an amount of Rs 1,128.17 million was collected under the head of income tax in September 2015. Also, the Customs Preventive collected Rs 706.74 million as federal excise duty during the same period.
