KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate Preventive collected Rs 12,688.36 million under the head of duties and taxes during February 2016.
According to official statistics, the Customs Preventive collected Rs 2334.05 million under the head of customs duty, Rs 8849.90 million as sales tax, Rs 983.71 million as income tax and Rs 521.15 million as federal excise duty.
So far, the Preventive Collectorate has collected some Rs 90,896.86 million, out of which Rs 19,257.77 million as customs duties, Rs 59,832.89 million as sales tax, Rs 8328.28 million as income tax, Rs 3477.92 million as federal excise duty.
