Customs Preventive detains person with fake Greece visa

SIALKOT: The Customs Preventive staff has detained a passenger with fake visa of Greece and handed him over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) of Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) the other day.

Customs official Imtiaz Cheema told Customs Today that a resident of village Theekrian of Tehsil Kharian District Gujrat was trying to travel to Athens from Sialkot International Airport Limited.

An informer told the Customs Preventive Staff that the said person has fake visa whereas he has weapon in his luggage. While during the checking of the luggage the Customs Preventive staff checked his bag but no weapon was found whereas the staff handed him over to the FIA staff to check his visa and other documents related to the journey.

The FIA team checked his visa and other documents while his visa and other documents found fake. The FIA staff has arrested him and registered a case against him whereas further investigation is under process.
