LAHORE: Customs Preventive authorities deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport has foiled bid to smuggle huge quantity of banned medicines to New York.
According to sources of Customs Today customs authorities of airport during checking of a passenger luggage found huge quantity of banned medicines which were hidden in his bags. The passenger who was identified as Imran Aslam is a resident of Sialkot and was bound to travel for New York.
On recovery of the sea medicines customs authorities arrested Imran Aslam and registered a case against him under Customs Act of 1969.
