KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate Preventive has foiled a bid to smuggle huge quantity of of non duty paid smart phones worth in million of rupees.
According to details, the customs preventive staff deputes at Jinnah International Airport intercepted a passenger namely Muhammad Hayat son of Muhammad Nawaz Sheikh landed at the airport from Dubai in Flight EK-606.
The customs authorities intercepted the passenger and recovered around 239 smartphones of various brands. The passenger has been arrested while further investigation is under process.
