Customs Preventive seizes smuggled goods worth Rs18m during December

LAHORE: The Customs Preventive Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) has seized non-duty paid, smuggled goods worth Rs 18 million in December so far.

Sources told Customs Today that the ASO seized different smuggled items amounting to Rs  11 million during the month of November, but in December the department showed outstanding performance and seized smuggled goods worth Rs 18 million. The ASO also made cases which involved an amount of Rs 159 million in November.
