Customs recovers 418 cellular phones worth Rs1m‏

ISLAMABAD: A team of Custom collectorate recovered 418 mobile phones worth Rs 1 million from two passengers who were coming from Peshawar.

According to details, Customs Intelligence Superintendent Zargam Dil received secret information about the smuggling attempt. He formed a team which intercepted a passenger bus and during search recovered 418 mobiles from the custody of two passengers.

The customs team asked them to show legal documents regarding possession of mobiles, but both accused failed to produce any relevant documents.

Superintendent Zargam Dil said that both smugglers are being arrested and FIR has been lodged against them, he said that further investigations are under process.
