ISLAMABAD: Customs authorities in Islamabad, Peshawar, Sialkot and Gilgit-Baltistan have seized 528 smuggled bottles of alcohol worth Rs12.2 million in one week.
The Customs officials also confiscated six vehicles during anti-smuggling operations.
Gilgit-Baltistan Model Customs Collectorate recovered 464 smuggled bottles of alcohol, Sialkot Customs 52 and Peshawar Customs seized 12 bottles.
Peshawar Customs also confiscated five illegal vehicles, while Islamabad Customs impounded one vehicle.
