KARACHI: Customs officials on Tuesday confiscated nine bottles of liquor at Karachi airport.
According to details, nine wine bottles were seized by custom officials from a passenger named Mansoor Ahmed, coming from Bangkok to Karachi.
Sources say the man is an adviser of Peoples Unity president but the employees union has distanced itself from what they termed a former member’s act.
Sources say Custom officials were pressurized to hand back the liquor bottles recovered from Mansoor’s possession who they say is a former employee of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
