LAHORE: The Pakistan Customs officials have confiscated almost 98 kilograms of cosmetics valued at Rs 400,000 here at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.
As per details, customs officials deputed at Lahore airport intercepted a passenger coming from America in arrival lounge on suspicion and conducted thorough search of his luggage.
While searching, customs officials found three bags filled with foreign origin cosmetics which were more than the allowed limit according to the customs laws.
Therefore, customs has seized the items following the prevailing customs laws, besides arresting accused namely Farrukh Ahmad who is resident of Falocn Society, Lahore.
