Customs seizes non-duty paid Toyota Hilux Surf

FAISALABAD: The Customs intelligence and investigation has seized a Toyota Hilux Surf. The market value of the seized vehicle is Rs 2 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director Customs Intelligence Muhammad Riaz Hussain received a credible information about non-paid Toyota Hilux Surf vehicle. He immediately constituted a team comprising Zahid Saleem Mirza (SIO), Muhammad Saleem, Mansoor Nasir, Farzand Ali(IO ), Muhammad Iqbal, Ghulam Ghous and Mukhtar Ahmed( sepoys ).

The customs team  intercepted the vehicle bearing registration No. LEE-13-236 model 1996 and asked its owner who was identified as Ayaz Mehmood son of  Nazar Hussain Bloch who is a resident of Tonsa Sharif Dera Ghazi Khan to produce legal documents regarding possession of vehicle, but the owner failed to provide the same. After his failure Customs team seized Toyota Hilux Surf and registered a case against its owner.
