Customs seizes Rs 64m non-customs paid vehicles in ten months ‏

LAHORE: Collector Customs Collectorate Multan Sarfraz Ahmad Waraich has said that automobiles of many brands worth Rs 64 million were seized during the first 10 months of the fiscal year 2015-16.

Talking to Customs Today, Collector Sarfraz Ahmad Waraich said the other day that officials seized 61 smuggled vehicles during the period under review.

In addition to capturing smuggled vehicles, Customs Multan also seized other articles stock valuing around Rs 101 million and 57 cases were filed from July 2015 to April 2016. These articles included tyres, auto parts, raw plastic granules, grease, mobil oil and others.
