SIALKOT: Customs Intelligence Anti-Smuggling Squad has seized a huge quantity of smuggled cloth, LEDs, crockery, toys, welding rods and other valuables worth of Rs 10 million, during a special checking on GT Road here.
According to the details, on the special directions of the Collector Customs Sialkot Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhary, the Customs Intelligence Anti-Smuggling Squad Sialkot conducted a special search operation under the supervision of Deputy Collector Anti-Smuggling Sialkot Asdaq Afzal and seized the above mentioned valuables. The said valuables were smuggled from Afghanistan, Iran, China and India and were being brought to the local markets in Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat and Lahore for sale.
