Moscow: The State Customs Committee of Belarus and the Federal Customs Service of Russia signed a memorandum of intent to ensure cooperation during the 2nd European Games. The document was signed at the 68th session of the CIS Customs Council in Dushanbe, BelTA learned from the State Customs Committee of Belarus.
The council is primarily engaged in identifying and improving priority areas in the field of customs, harmonizing the customs laws of the CIS member states, coordinating the practical interaction of customs and other interested national services and agencies, and also facilitating the implementation of adopted interstate and intergovernmental decisions. Taking part in the meeting was a delegation of the Belarusian customs service led by Chairman of the State Customs Committee Yuri Senko.
