Customs to challenge Czech lady jail term in LHC

LAHORE: Customs department has decided to challenge the session court order of eight years and eight months imprisonment of Czech model Teresa in Lahore High Court (LHC).

Source told Customs Today that customs department is not satisfied with the imprisonment awarded to Czech lady, adding that customs officers say that smuggling has been proved and all evidences are produced before the court.

Due to sufficient evidences of smuggling the court announced a very short imprisonment. Department is not satisfied and also will challenge the imprisonment of model girl and also challenge the release of Shoaib Hafeez, a companion of Czech model Teresa.

Customs Today also learnt that Czech model Teresa is also prepared to challenge her jail term in Lahore High Court (LHC) against the session court decision.

It is also mentioned that Additional Session Judge Shahzad Raza sentenced jail term of eight years and eight months to Czech model for smuggling of heroin.
