Customs to file petition against return of Ayan Ali’s passport

LAHORE: Special Federal Customs , Taxation and Anti Smuggling Court Rawalpindi has returned passport of model Ayan Ali after court accepted her plea to return her passport.

According to sources Pakistan customs authorities have decided to file a petition against return of her passport and soon Customs authorities will appraoch to LHC to file this petition.

Customs Today sources confirmed that legal process is underway and soon a petition will be filed as it is feared that Ayan Ali can flee from the country with the connivance of airport authorities.

Earlier the Special Court of Customs and Taxation on Tuesday approved top model Ayyan Ali’s surety bonds worth Rs 2 million to return her passport which was confiscated after her arrest in the money-laundering case in March this year. During  a previous hearing, the court had maintained that Ayyan‘s passport is important documentary evidence in the currency smuggling case
