ISLAMABAD: Collectorate of Customs will generate an amount of Rs 50 million through auction of non-duty paid goods and vehicles. The auction will be held on Thursday (today).
Collector Dr Arsalan Subuectageen, while talking to Customs Today, said that the department generated a revenue of Rs 22 million in auction which was held in the past. He said that this auction is declared as “grand auction” of the year. He said a transparent procedure will be followed as every person is allowed to take part in the auction.
Dr. Arsalan said that we adopted a new policy in which it is decided that auction non-duty paid goods and vehicles after passage of limited time. He said any body who faces any hurdle in participation in auction can contact us.
