Customs Tribunal adjourns 7 references against Peshawar Customs

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Appellate Tribunal bench-II on Tuesday adjourned hearing of seven tax references filed against the Model Customs Collectorate, Peshawar.

Bench-II comprising Technical Member Muhammad Maqsood ul Hassan heard the references and adjourned hearing till March 8. The tribunal also issued directive to counsels to ensure their presence before the tribunal on next hearing.

Out of seven, six tax references were filed against Peshawar Customs by M/s Hattar Electronics, Haripur. One was filed by M/s Madni Poly Tex.

M/S Hattar Electronics, Haripur had filed references challenging decision of Model Customs Collector, Peshawar and sought relief from the tribunal.

These references were filed in 2008, under numbers: 181-186/CU/IB/2008. Advocate Hamid Idrees would argue on behalf of appellant.
